The Haitian-American Association of Engineers and Scientists, HAES is a socio-professional non-profit organization that was founded in 1989 by a group of Engineers and engineering students who wanted to apply their knowledge to a very noble purpose. We seek to create connections among our members and other sectors of society that identify and take advantage of the opportunities that the application of science and technology through engineering and building skills offer.

The General Membership chooses 9 Directors through an annual election process, and the Board of Directors elect a Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Coordinator, and Public Relations officer from among themselves.
